I admit, Veoh have better quality, one can upload longer vid, and direct uploading from HTTP is good idea… But still, WinME/9x/Linux users aren’t treated good X.X About DMCA, it all depends on what stuff you upload, so i can understand they removed full Pokemon episodes – but it’s still better than what YouTube did with my old account – i had OPENINGS only, every one got removed and account was suspended.

Too bad none of “FLV-downloading” sites support Veoh yet, but i hope it’s only a matter of time

I’m testing blip.tv – they allow to upload files via FTP, when you log off from FTP server the file is automatically available for download in original form, and after a 15-20 minutes you can watch the FLV version.[/quote]

It does indeed download random stuff. I set it to comply use 1% of my hard drive space, and I turn it off whenever I’m not uploading. Annoying, but it works. I haven’t received any complaints yet, I guess I’m lucky. Better job in streaming than YouTube in my opinion, so. As long as it works

I’ll refuse to use the player, as 1) seems it downloads lots of data on its own lately; 2) it’s incompatible with my os X.X

And i got DMCA complaint. They react much faster than Youtube X.X

Pal, can you please post a list of CRC32 sums or md5 hashes for the episode files so that we can check against the files download from veoh?

Also, is there a BT tracker for the episodes? Just in case the file from veoh is some how corrupted… that way at least we can use the torrent to fix the file.

Hmm, I’ll check it AtoMan. Maybe they changed how they do things, since that’s what they used to do.

Ok, I just tested…it works, downloaded an AVI. HOWEVER, it changed the file name. Not so cool. I’ll see what I can do about that… CRCs are still the same, so that’s good.
